For those of you who are looking for a good sermon...Check out the church of the open door podcast. Dave Johnson spoke last week on the much talked about (and ubber popular in 21st century Theology) concept of the "Myth of Redemptive Violence". He does a simply smashing job approaching Jesus teaching in Matthew 5 (the infamous but rarely practiced by humanity anti eye for an eye teaching)..and parallels that scripture with Samson (and his retaliation cycle found in Judges 15)...
Suffice it to say that I cannot wait for the part two sermon that was just released this morning entitled "The Third Way"....I think Dave's going to take it a different direction than some others and I can't wait to see what he brings....Bring it Dave, Bring it...
