Brother Fidel

So many of you probably heard about Mr. Castro stepping down as El Presendente today. It was all over the news. I for one am going to miss that crazy guy. I loved his addidas track suits, his beard and one time in college I totally saw a video of Fidel from the 1960's going up for a jump shot in a Bball game and getting totally stuffed. (true story)

Cuba often gets a bad wrap. Many Americans think back to the bay of pigs or Cuban missile crisis and those were big deals and dark times but I prefer to focus on all of their vintage American cars that they use due to the trade embargo and their bright colored buildings. but what blows me away most is how much better their health care system is. (ok this last sentence I am being serious about) check out this world health organization report and this article from the BBC and wikipedia I mean if a guy with a beard who wears track suits and army fatigues can create an incredible healthcare system that potentialy works better and has more success then the US system, what’s holding us back?
