Why I (we) matter...I matter because the God of the universe cares about me. I matter because the God of the Universe loves me. And because I am cared for and loved, my response can only be grateful participation.
Grateful participation with the God of the Universe. Participation in His Buisness. A wanting to be a part of what the God of the Universe is all about.
I am one of the many bi-products of God's creation. And if the God of the Universe cares, loves, and created me... I must have a purpose. I must have a role in this Universe.
We matter because we are created imagio dei.
