House work

We now know the concept of house/yard work...!
Pulling weeds and tending the "feilds" that have not seen care all summer is a big job.

When we started weeding the vegtable garden - the weeds had grown so high that they were almost reaching the windows! With a weed wacker and a lot of bent over hours pulling up those happy weeds, we have begun to make the untamed jungle non-existent.
We have filled over 15 barrels of yard waste so far!

Neighbors and avid Walkers have commented walking by our house, saying the house is so "cute" (which is another way of saying little and quaint). Needless to say, the previous owners did amazing landscaping-so all we are doing is cleaning up what's already there! Jeff even got the Waterfall Pond working in the back yard!

Our efforts in the yard are being noticed and we are taking great pride in caring for it!

I'm off to work on the side of the house-we'll see how many barrels I can fill up today :-)
