The ongoing saga between the woodchuck and myself unfolded into a new chapter earlier this week. For starters I have not seen him around after I have made his life miserable in the recent past by making alot of noise near his home and putting rock over his entrance ways thus making him dig out his hole daily. Also after adding fencing to the garden I believe this to be one more deterrent that has forced the adorable critter out of the Olson yard.
So in a what I thought to be futile effort I found myself frantically adding miracle grow to the broccoli in some attempt to resurrect it and well, we have new growth folks! New leaves and heads of broccoli!

Why are you surprised that the brocolli has been resurrected? It is a cruciferous vegetable, after all. Most gardners know that we fix broken tomatoes with tomato paste, but the only way to resurrect brocolli is to crucifix them with a Miracle Grow dousing.
