Time in MN

SO about a week ago I (Jeff) got back from a week visiting friends and family in Minnesota. Lisa and I had a great time connecting with everyone, going to favorite places to dine, bookstores, coffee shops and of course loved be re immersed in the great vibe that only MInneapolis provides.

A few picts:

this is the largest used theological bookstore in the world (its in an old covenant church actually)

Lisa and I while visiting out Grandmothers one day had the opportunity to visit Pastor Berg. Pastor Berg is a 96 year old saint of the faith. A man who has followed Jesus so long its amazing to see his depth and how a life of following Jesus shapes a person. His clear mind and able spirit God has given him have allowed him to write 6 amazing books in his 90's alone....The day before we visited he had just performed a wedding in the assisted living home where he lives....he reads 17 chapters from differnt theological and devotional books as well as he spends hours a day in the word day in and day out. On top of this P Berg stays up till 2am reading, praying and writing.....what a stud.

on a note about Lisa:

Lisa has been for the last week in Madison W.I. for an Inter Varsity training and development meeting. (She's having a great time and the conference has been very well done and valuable) She will be ariving back in R.I. on Wednesday so by all means feel free to invite me over for dinner in the time being...
