Update

So after considerable resistance I again am posting...

whats new? well, glad you asked. A few weekends back I had the weekend off (first sense Christmas) and Lisa and I went out to Cape Cod and stayed at a delightful townhouse that someone in our congregation was kinda enough to let us use. that was incredible! That weekend the herring (apparently a type of fish) were swimming up stream and aggressive and passionate seagulls filled the sky (see pictures)...

But before we went up Lisa and I caught Death Cab for Cutie in Providence (great show... see picture)
Also a week or so ago we were in the studio (Steve's basement) for a week recoding a demo with our band "Saint Soren" While it may seem impossible, this is actually the first reference of the band on the blog....I know, amazing. But for all of you out there be prepared to rock out to some great tunes. (were in process now of mixing and mastering... wish I had a picture....)

Lisa's Lacrosse coaching season ended well and she is now spending alot of time with strategic planning and connecting with students and gearing up for neat year down at URI with Inter varsity. Lisa also celebrated her birthday last week and a grand time was had by many.

Last night we were up in providence at an art gallery connected with the after school arts program at our church. A grand time was had by all in this great art space. The time was complete with live poetry and music and packed with well over 100 sweaty people all of whom are being the hands and feet of Christ by serving one of the most impoverished areas of the city. Bringing all different kids of art for these kids to be a part of...pretty exciting. (see picture of Steve and Greg at the gallery...yes it is blurry...)

In an unrelated note, we will try and update this blog more...also we will be visiting in Minnesota in a few weeks!
