Radiohead is bold

So I was on the bbc the other day and apparently Radiohead is coming out with a new cd. But friends, this is not any regular cd from arguably one of the best bands in the world. If you have not heard, their contact with their label was satisfied with the completion of their last album Hail to the Thief so now they are free and allowing the public to pick their price for the cd.

Essentially before it is sold in stores you can buy it digitally and you decide the price. It’s a brilliant concept and I am excited to see if music can finally begin to be bigger then record companies. If artists can truly be free to create without record companies worried about "sell ability" and thus changing songs and artists interpretations around.

I'm very interested in seeing how this pans out...
